Frequently asked questions
Pattaya Medical FAQ: sources, fees, emergencies and limits.
Every answer below follows the same published evidence and safety rules used across the site.
After the event · not emergency dispatch
Use the complaint route that matches the issue and responsible body.
For an immediate medical emergency, call 1669 first. A complaint submission does not prove misconduct and does not promise a refund, compensation, discipline, processing time or result.
| Issue after the event | Current official destination | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Private-facility standards, fees, licensing or facility advertising | Department of Health Service Support complaint form | Private-facility route only; no outcome or public-hospital jurisdiction is implied. |
| Physician professional or ethics matter | Medical Council ethics complaint instructions | The official page gives written-complaint requirements and links to the submission system; a submission does not prove misconduct. |
| Dental-practitioner ethics matter | Dental Council instructions | The English page describes a written in-person or postal process and identity and evidence requirements; it is not presented here as an online workflow. |
| Physical-therapy professional matter | Physical Therapy Council complaint and legal-consultation system | The tracking flow may require Thai identification; a foreign user should confirm the available route with the council. |
| Emergency-medical-system or UCEP dispute | NIEMS complaint system | Use after the event. It is not general hospital customer service and not emergency dispatch. |
| Insurance-regulator question | Office of Insurance Commission complaint route | This route does not establish coverage, reimbursement or a successful complaint. |
| Factual error on Pattaya Medical | Pattaya Medical corrections process | This route concerns the publication record, not care, professional conduct or insurance. |
Is Pattaya Medical a clinic or medical provider?
No. Pattaya Medical is an editorial logistics publication. It does not diagnose, provide treatment, book care or recommend a provider.
How are facility facts checked?
Claims are checked by desk research against Thai government, accreditor and facility-owned primary sources. Each profile shows the checked date, direct sources and known gaps.
What do the three evidence labels mean?
“Registry facts verified” means named government or accreditor evidence supports only the registry-level facts shown. “Provider-published details” means the provider is the source for the practical details shown. “Current verification incomplete” marks missing, stale, unavailable or conflicting visit information. None is an approval, recommendation or clinical-quality judgment.
Why can a field be missing from a facility profile?
A missing field means the current evidence does not safely establish that detail for the exact facility or branch. It does not prove that the service or detail is absent; confirm it directly with the facility.
What number should I call for a medical emergency in Thailand?
Call 1669 for Thailand’s emergency medical service. Use 191 for police emergencies. Do not delay urgent help to compare directory listings.
How do I check a pharmacy and a named pharmacist in Thailand?
Check the premises or licence in the Thai FDA Drug Establishment Search, then check a named pharmacist separately by exact name or professional licence number in the Pharmacy Council register. Neither result proves who is on duty, current stock or price, authenticity, language support, dispensing permission or suitability.
Open the two-step pharmacy checkWhich medical certificate should I request in Pattaya?
Start with the receiving organization’s exact form, wording, issuer, tests and acceptance rules, then ask whether the facility can provide that document. A facility-published certificate service does not establish same-day availability, price or recipient acceptance.
Compare source-published certificate routesWhere can I report a private-facility, professional or emergency-system issue?
For immediate medical help call 1669. After an event, private-facility standards, professional conduct, insurance regulation and emergency-system disputes use different official destinations. Submitting a complaint does not prove wrongdoing or promise an outcome.
Match the issue to the official routeDoes a home visit mean a doctor, physiotherapist or ambulance?
No. The admitted operator records describe distinct doctor hotel or home visits and home-physiotherapy programs with different contacts, limits and unknowns. None is interchangeable with Thailand’s 1669 public emergency dispatch.
Compare the four source-labelled servicesHow current are clinic and department opening hours?
Each published schedule is tied to a dated source on the facility profile. Hours can change after that check, so confirm the exact department, day and appointment directly before travelling.
Does a checked date mean Tim or Paemi visited the facility?
No. A checked date records desk research unless the page explicitly documents another method. No physical visit or patient experience is claimed.
Are the Google Maps actions verified map pins?
No. They open explicit name-and-address search queries assembled from cited location records, not verified Google Place IDs. Check the returned branch and entrance before travelling.
Is a hospital-department phone always a direct line?
No. A number is described as department-specific only when the cited evidence establishes that scope. Otherwise it may be a hospital or general contact and is labelled accordingly; ask the facility to confirm the correct department.
Are published fees guaranteed?
No. A fee appears only with a direct source and as-of date, and readers are told to reconfirm the exact scope and total with the facility.
Does no dated fee example mean care is free or unavailable?
No. It only means this site does not have a current provider-published fee that meets its publication rules for that profile. It says nothing about availability, price, insurance coverage or final cost.
Can I compare Pattaya dental prices on this site?
You can compare dated provider-published examples with their stated inclusions and exclusions. They are not complete treatment plans, quotes, quality rankings or promises of a final total.
Does the directory rank clinical quality?
No. Comparison tables cover practical logistics and evidence status, not clinicians, treatment, outcomes or suitability.
Who publishes Pattaya Medical?
TimPaemi is the publisher, operated by TIMPAEMI CO., LTD. Tim and Paemi are the publisher’s visible principals; neither is presented as a clinician or personally credited on a page unless that responsibility is explicitly assigned.
How do I report a correction?
Use the correction page or email info@pattaya-medical.com with the page URL, disputed detail and a direct source when available.
Still uncertain?
Inspect the method or send a correction.
The standards page explains claim scope. The corrections page explains what evidence to send.
