The rules we hold ourselves to.
Plain language. Sourced facts. No paid placements. No medical advice. Facility profiles compiled from facility-owned materials and public records — not clinical reviews.
The method, in one paragraph.
Pattaya Medical is an independent editorial directory of medical facilities serving Pattaya and the Eastern Seaboard. Each facility page is a sourced facts profile — addresses, hours, languages, payment methods, and logistics compiled from the facility’s own website, Google Business profile, or other facility-owned sources. We verify against public records where possible, date every page, and publish corrections when readers spot errors. We do not publish recommend / OK / avoid verdicts without an in-person editorial visit — and we are not conducting those visits at this time. We are not a medical provider, a referral service, an insurance broker, or a medical-tourism agency.
What we do.
Compile from facility-owned sources.
We start with what the facility publishes about itself — its website, social listings, signage photos, price sheets where available, and public accreditor records. We do not scrape competitor review sites. We do not republish promotional copy without labelling it as facility-sourced.
Verify facts twice.
Addresses, opening hours, phone numbers, languages spoken, and payment methods are checked against at least one independent public source where possible. Where information conflicts, we note the conflict on the page. Where we cannot verify something, we say “not verified” rather than guess.
Date every page.
Every facility profile carries a last-verified date. Where price ranges appear, they include that date and a clear note that prices change without notice. Readers should always confirm the current price with the facility before treatment.
Publish corrections in plain sight.
If we get something wrong — a price, an address, a language claim — readers can email [email protected] with the correction and supporting source. We acknowledge corrections within seven days, update the page, and note the change at the foot of the page with a date.
Label profiles honestly.
Issue I pages are marked Sourced profile. That means facts-only — logistics, languages, payment, location. It is not a clinical review, a treatment recommendation, or a verdict on medical quality.
What we may do later.
If we ever add in-person editorial visits and paid-bill reviews, they will be labelled clearly on the affected page. Verdicts would apply only to facility experience — administration, communication, billing, comfort, language coverage, transparency — never to medical quality, treatments, or outcomes. We are not conducting those visits at this time.
What we don't do.
No paid placements. No sponsored content. No affiliate links.
We accept no money, gifts, or discounted services from any facility we cover. We do not run banner advertising, sponsored posts, "partner content", affiliate referral links, or paid newsletter placements. We do not accept submissions from facilities asking to be reviewed.
No medical advice. Ever.
Nothing on Pattaya Medical is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for professional care. We do not recommend specific procedures, medications, devices, or doctors. We profile facilities and the logistics of using them, not the medicine inside. If you are sick, injured, or worried, contact a qualified medical professional or call the Thai emergency number 1669.
No user-submitted reviews. No comments. No forum.
We do not host user reviews, comments, ratings, or any reader-submitted content. We take corrections, factual updates, and tips by email only. This is a deliberate editorial decision: moderating user-submitted medical claims responsibly is more work than a small editorial team can do safely.
No identifying individual editors.
Bylines on facility pages and editorial content carry the collective signature “The Editors.” Individual contributors are not named publicly. The operator (TIMPAEMI Co., Ltd., founder Tim Paemi) is identified on the About page and in the legal footer of every page, but does not claim medical credentials.
No medical credentials.
None of our reviewers, editors, or operators are licensed physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, or allied medical professionals practising at the facilities we profile. We do not, will not, and cannot offer the kind of clinical judgement that those professionals offer. Where clinical judgement is needed, we say so on the page and link out to relevant Thai regulatory or accreditor sources.
Conflicts of interest.
The operator (TIMPAEMI Co., Ltd.) holds no equity in, board seats at, or contractual relationships with any medical facility in Thailand. The operator's other publications — listed in the footer of every page — are editorial-only and operate under the same rules. Where any conflict ever emerges (an investment, a family relationship, a professional retention) we will disclose it on the affected facility page and recuse the conflicted reviewer.
Privacy.
We collect minimal analytics (cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics, plus a Google Analytics 4 stream with IP anonymisation). We do not use re-marketing tags, ad pixels, or third-party trackers beyond the analytics above. Full details are on the Privacy page.
Operator.
Pattaya Medical is published by TIMPAEMI Co., Ltd., a Thai limited company based in Pattaya, Thailand, via the Pattaya Authority network. Editorial contact: [email protected].

Questions we get.
Do you visit facilities in person?
Not at this time. Each profile is compiled from facility-owned sources — the facility’s website, Google Business profile, accreditor records, and similar public materials. We verify against public records where possible, date every page, and publish corrections when readers spot errors. We do not publish recommend / OK / avoid verdicts without an in-person editorial visit.
Why don't you verdict on medical quality?
Medical quality is the domain of qualified clinicians, accreditors (like JCI), and Thai regulators (the Ministry of Public Health). We are editors, not physicians. We are equipped to judge whether a facility is well-run -- billing transparent, languages covered, communication clear -- but not whether a particular treatment is right for a particular patient. Pretending otherwise would be dishonest and potentially harmful.
Do you accept advertising or sponsorships?
No. Zero paid placements, zero affiliate links, zero "sponsored" tags, zero submissions from facilities asking to be reviewed. We do not run banner advertising, sponsored content, or paid newsletter placements. The publication is funded by the operator (TIMPAEMI Co., Ltd.) and remains editorially independent.
How do I send a correction?
Email [email protected] with "Correction:" as the subject prefix. Tell us which URL, what the error is, and the correct information with a public source if possible. We acknowledge corrections within 7 calendar days, update the affected page, and log the change at the foot of that page. The full corrections workflow is on /corrections.html.
Can I quote your editorial in my publication?
Yes, with attribution. Facts (addresses, opening hours, languages, payment methods, last-verified prices) may be quoted under fair use with the source URL cited. Verdicts (recommend / OK / avoid / sourced profile) may be referenced only with the facility URL cited as source. The medical disclaimer must be reproduced if you present a factual statement to a reader who might mistake it for medical advice. For longer republication, contact /press.html.
Are your editors qualified medical professionals?
No. None of our reviewers, editors, or operators are licensed physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, or allied medical professionals practising at the facilities we profile. We make no clinical judgements. Where a clinical judgement is needed, we say so on the page and link out to relevant regulatory or accreditor sources. Always consult a qualified medical professional for health concerns. In an emergency in Thailand, call 1669.
How is this site different from a medical-tourism agency?
Medical-tourism agencies earn commissions from facilities they refer patients to. We earn nothing. We are not a referral service, not an insurance broker, not a travel agent. We are an editorial publication -- the same model as a restaurant guide or a movie-review site, applied to medical facilities. We make no money from your decisions about your healthcare.
